Children of Iraq:

The children of Iraq have been worst affected by the wars in Iraq. They are doomed to death on account of bombs and fatal diseases. They live in most severe times, they suffer humiliation and, in the true sense of the word, they have lost their childhood. Many children have lost their mothers or fathers or both due to the war or the merciless embargo they have become homeless and live on the streets where they are confronted with Violence, exploitation and misuse.

The children, victims of the war:

Generations of children who lived in times of war, who are exposed to daily violence, expulsion and the noise of guns and bombs day by day , who can no longer go to school and sec their hopes for education dashed and who are threatened by fatal diseases as a consequence of disastrous environmental pollution, are living proof of an unparalleled catastrophe mankind is facing. According to U.N. statistics of 2001, the number of children who died in Iraq is as follows:
Between 1991 and 2001 the number of deaths among children under the age of 5 was 598851.
Between 1991 and 2001 the number of deaths among children between 5 and 10 was 862319.

We shall not give up hope and join forces to make the children smile again:

Moved by the desire to help, the Al-Rahma association has launched its activities within the bounds of its possibilities.
Al-Rahma focuses its efforts on two sectors the financial and the medical one.
Thanks to the efforts of Al-Rahma, a lot of children were treated in German hospitals and with greater support we can hopefully help a greater number of children.
